At the foot of the Pyrenees, surrounded by forests, rivers, and rolling countryside, Château des Pyrénées feels wonderfully secluded and deeply peaceful. The long tree-lined grounds, ancient parkland, and flowing river create a magical atmosphere that guests describe as unforgettable, whether arriving for a large family gathering, a wedding celebration, or a quiet escape with friends. The château’s historic character blends beautifully with the warmth of a lived-in family home, while the heated pool, terraces, and mountain views invite long days outdoors beneath the southern French sun.
Inside, the château is remarkably spacious, allowing large groups to spread out comfortably across elegant salons, cosy lounges, games rooms, and quiet reading corners. Guests consistently praise the comfortable bedrooms, upgraded bathrooms, and beautifully restored interiors filled with antiques, Persian rugs, and thoughtful details. The conservatory dining space, billiard room, cinema room, professional kitchen, and wellness facilities create a balance of grandeur and relaxation, while the on-site catering and wine tastings are among the most-loved parts of the stay.
There are 14 bedrooms, ranging from children’s rooms to master suites, most with en-suite bathrooms; a few share with an adjoining room, and some are interconnected, which suits families travelling with children. Outdoors, a heated swimming pool with a large terrace, an outdoor jacuzzi, a tennis court and a pool house with wood-fired pizza oven sit within extensive private parkland.
What guests remember most about Château des Pyrénées is the feeling of being completely together without ever feeling crowded — long dinners on the terrace, children playing freely across the grounds, evenings around the pool, and the warmth and hospitality that make every gathering feel personal, joyful, and effortless.

Regional gastronomy is a highlight of any stay, from village markets filled with local cheeses, charcuterie and mountain produce to vineyard tastings and long outdoor dinners beneath the warm evening sky.
