nana - Founder
Nana’s journey began in the Netherlands, but in 2011, she moved to Southern France to work as a manager at Château Coty, where she immersed herself in the world of château rentals. She quickly mastered the ins and outs of maintaining and managing a castle rental business.
At the time, the château had only a few weeks of bookings per year, relying on a well-known agency. Seeing its potential, Nana created a dedicated website for Château Coty and managed bookings herself. The results were transformative—bookings surged, and Nana discovered her passion for helping others plan perfect château getaways. She combined her skills in web design with her love for creating personalized guest experiences, laying the foundation for her expertise in bespoke travel.
To expand her knowledge, Nana worked as a manager and booking manager for several other châteaux, gaining valuable insights into the industry’s unique demands.
Nana has another passion: organizing retreats. Her retreats are about creating unique, immersive experiences that foster connection and leave lasting memories. Over the years, she has organized more than 22 retreats in stunning locations, including Bali, Guatemala, Italy, Poland, and, of course, Southern France. Her ability to design these big group transformative gatherings (with, in general, around 50 people for a week or more) has made her a trusted expert in curating unforgettable group experiences.
Today, Nana is dedicated to sharing the magic of Southern France—its fairytale châteaux, exquisite cuisine, peaceful countryside, and world-class wines. Her mission is to craft unforgettable experiences for every group, whether it’s a family vacation, wedding, or transformative retreat.
